Our hearts are heavy for the families and people of Newtown, Connecticut

Dear Time For Teens Supporters:

Our hearts are heavy for the families and people of Newtown, Connecticut who try to make sense of this tragedy and grieve the loss of too many innocent lives. The Newtown tragedy has impacted the nation on such a deep emotional level and will leave an impression on many children, families and individuals across this country.

As founder of Time For Teens and Time For Teens Bereavement Camp as well as Aunt to several small children, and having suffered the loss of my own sister when I was just a teen, I recognize the importance of grief support when faced with the death of a loved one. I would like to share the following resources for those affected in Newtown and all families and communities coping with loss:

Time For Teens www.time4teens.org

-Bereavement camp for teens ages 12-19 who have suffered any type of loss. Camp is held in Southampton NY annually in August, exact dates TBD in 2013. TFT Annual Bereavement Camps provide a safe, creative and healing environment for teens who have suffered the loss of a loved one.
